Of the original 500 pairs of shoes, 250 were designated for Texas Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Strong Roofing donated 50 additional pairs, and G.L. Hunt has sponsored 60 more, expanding the giveaway to 610 total pairs. TXGRG advocates for and empowers grandparents raising grandchildren by connecting grandfamilies with resources, information, and support.

This is a limited community giveaway, available only while supplies last. Shoes, sizes, styles, and quantities are limited and distributed at the organizer’s discretion. Completing this signup form or receiving a confirmation does not guarantee that a student will receive a pair of shoes. Each student must be between 4 and 17 years old, must be registered in advance, and must attend with the guardian listed on the registration unless the organizer approves otherwise in writing. The registering guardian must present a valid government- or school-issued photo ID that matches the registration. The organizer may request reasonable proof of a student’s age or guardianship.
Registrations are non-transferable and may be canceled for duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, or ineligible submissions. One guardian may register no more than two students. Only registered students are eligible; walk-ups and unregistered siblings cannot be accommodated. The event location is private and may not be posted or shared publicly. Event details are subject to change or cancellation. Participation is voluntary, and attendees are responsible for transportation and personal belongings. By registering, the guardian agrees to follow event staff instructions and accepts these terms.
